I'm so busy with my "part time" job. My daily routine nowadays were...
home-work-home
8am-11pm, everyday!!!
I barely see my kids a.k.a. my family :(
My creative juices are running low this month. What the heck happened?! :O
i'm super drained.
October please be good to me...

so I think 1 post per week can do.
I CAN DO THISSSSSSSS!!!!!

Party Belle

one sunday morning, actually it was yesterday morning, I asked my sister what will be her motif for her party/debut.

back story, she turned 18 last year but we weren't able to throw her a big birthday bash so my mom's planning to do it this year. the thing is, she doesn't want to have a big party. she's reluctant to the idea of having a party this coming december. So being the persistent me, I nag her to death to tell me what colors does she want for her party. But still, she doesn't wanna answer me, she ignored me the whole time! after 10 continuous nagging questions I gave up. I just said, "whatever I'll just draw your gown and you can do nothing about it! ha!" ~~crazy ate (eldest of 4) gone wild haha!~~

having said that, I don't have any idea where to begin! haha! hmmm... since I know that her favorite disney movie, hopefully, is beauty and the beast and her favorite color's blue, i'll start from there at least not from scratch right? mahirap kaya :O

dark and lacey

dark and lacey. Dark because, it was dark outside when I woke up, and lacey 'coz I was feeling lazy, ~~(attempt at humor, but failed)~~ might be the weather, and I'm not in the mood for bright and happy colors that's why I opted for black and grey duo. something classic.

Someday, Santorini

There's something about Santorini, Greece that makes me wanna pack my bags, cut all my communications from the world and ~~hide~~ live there. haha!

It's so serene and peaceful looking. The waters are clear and so inviting, you just wanna dive in it. When I have the chance to go to Santorini, I'll visit the village of Oia, buy some gelato, ride a donkey, swim in their hot springs, and watch the sunset there.

I've never been to Santorini, not even near Greece, but it's at the top of my list of places to go to before I die.

Enough with what I want to do when I get there. haha. So while browsing pictures of their sunset and beaches and the whole place i was inspired to make a moodboard for a santorini beach inspired wedding dress.

MOODBOARD:

the details:

see the black and white photo at the bottom left? I love how the mini buildings looks like a cascading water hence the details on the gown. I wanted it to be flowy and breezy like the wind. ☺

SKETCHED DRESS:

I was planning to go on an all white flowy wedding gown with blue details but, as you can see, it turned out greyish. The grey part was supposed to be the "shadow" so it'll look like it's flowy but lacking of a decent paper and tools and a newbie on photoshop, tenen! result above. but hey i've tried. amateur? i know :)) (~~note to self: buy some DECENT TOOLS soon~~).
